So the discussion started

So the other day when Cheech and I were talking about things from our childhood. These things consisted from random 80's and 90's accessories and clothing items such as cross color jeans, lycra crop tops, scruntchies, tube socks and finally Hypercolor shirts (including clothing)...

The conversation honed on into Hypercolor and the range they produced.

Shirts, in all kinds of cool colours, shorts, singlets, crop tops and underwear. Yep you heard it right underwear.

I couldn't help but throw in an Emma type of joke along the lines of, "Oh I swear its not a skiddy on them undies its just my hypercolor".

Great concept yes, lots of science behind them with the whole thermochromic pigmentation and all.

The thing that was kinda weird was the whole sweaty pits thing, I mean if you were sweating up a storm everyone knew cause your pink shirt had green arm pits.

So props 1991 for bringing out a mood ring-esk type of shirt!

LOVE

Cider & Stelth iPhone photo styles

I am sure you all know by now I have a weakness for cider and normally I would say the only place to be is somewhere that has it on tap. NOT ANYMORE!!!

Due to the heat I figured I deserved to be waited on hand and foot for dinner and the only way that was happening is if I ate at the pub! So I went to a very underrated little bar in Surry Hills / Redfern I will call it "Shit hole dive hotel" just to keep it in its barren little state. Sorry!!!
So back to "Shit hole dive hotel"...

I ordered dinner which was... umm how to explain it.. average.
I also asked them what they had in the way of cider... Mr bar guy started to tell me about the types of Strongbow they had in the fridge and finally at the end came out with the goods... "and Magners".

"Sweet I will have a Magners thanks!!!"

He placed the Magners long neck on the counter and asked me if I wanted a glass and ice with that. I didnt....

PROOF!!!

In true bogan style I sat in the pub grinning ear to ear getting happier by the minute drinking long necks of Magners. (Holy shit I could so do product placement for them)...

As time went along and boyfriend approached i got my iPhone out and stelthed the place.
Here are my pics.

Feeling Festive!

Today was the finishing day for all christmas shopping and boyfriend birthday shopping (Yes, I am proud of myself).

So after finishing that I was feeling rather festive and decided to make my own wrapping paper.

Here is a step by step on how I made my very O.G. Xmas wrap.

Step one:
Shop for the following

1 x Potato
1 x roll of brown paper
1 x red paint
1 x green paint

Step 1:
Get Potato - from here you will need to think up some shapes. I went for a traditional tree and a star.

Step 2:
Cut your shapes out.

Step 3:
Potato stamp away.

Step 4:
Finished product!!!

A way to my heart....

Today I had a wonderful play date since I am now a lady of leisure with the beautiful Anella.

We attended the very yummy and also artery clogging Buppa's Bakehouse.

We started with brunch, I had a bagel with cream cheese and a grape soda (it's OK, it was 11.30am)

We then went for a walk and headed back to Buppa's to have afternoon tea at 2pm.

This time we got pie - Hmmmmmm pie!!!

We got key lime and chocolate peanut butter pies and decided to share.

Right now I am on the lounge with my pants undone wondering why I ate a months worth of sugar in one sitting. But DAMN it was worth every bite.

Here are the pics (sorry no bagels I was way to hungry and forgot all about it)

Just so my man didn't feel left out I purchased him some Ben and Jerry's Ice cream, some Reese's pieces, Sour Patch Kids candy and the good old trusty peanut butter cups. YUM

Cans of soda! - Yum

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie with Hershey chocolate sauce! - YUM x 2

Key Lime Pie - YUM x3

YUMMMM

Ode to ye old Cider

I think its about time I gave an ode if you will to Cider....

I must say, at $4.80 a long neck for a Bulmers and $5.70 for a Magners long neck it never lets me down.

I love how you make my pub experiences cheap and cheerful not to forget the happy warm and fuzzy feeling it gives me when i drink it.

I think cider is a highly underrated beverage and should be on more beer taps in the country.

I would like to thank Cheech, Sarah and other cider drinkers for supporting these tasty tasty beverages.

So this is my Monday ode to ye old Cider.

Cheers

Rainbow Tiger

It has taken me a few days to get this up since I had to get the pic from my iPhone. (ps sorry about the shite quality)...

I found this slightly disturbing but very entertaining.

The disturbing part was is this picture was mounted on a wall next to my table while I was eating my veg laksa, the entertaining thing was my thoughts on how many drugs you would have to be on to think up this picture.

Anyway I have much love for the tiger rainbow!!!

PUK U MISS

Beware of the massive Bus Rant!!!!!

So finally catching the bus to work every morning to work has taken its toll. Not cause I am lazy or hate the body odor, but because I can’t believe how unbelievably rude some people are!

I was shocked when I got on at my stop (which mind you is only 10 mins from the city) this morning and surprise surprise I got a seat (YEP, I have stopped looking for one). Don’t hold your breath for too long on that exciting first as it only lasted for 30 seconds.

The stop after mine saw a ridiculous 10 people push and shove their way on to the bus (mind you buses come every 5 mins), this isn’t what shat me off most….

Set the scene Mr 90 year old, walking cane and frail as getting thrown aside by corporate wankers and some rude houso b1tch (imagine the end of the world had a last bus)…

Poor Mr 90 paid for his ride and was left standing in the aisle while these rude individuals got their books and laptops out to make the what is now only a 9 min trip to the city that little more luxurious.

I was seated across from 2 x school kids and next to a 20 something boy. I offered my seat to the elderly man. I don’t want a medal I just know what is right.. Emz surrounded by a bus full of WRONG!

I don’t care that I stood up for a few minutes to the city nor do I care that I gave my seat to the lovely old man. What I do care about is the smug C*#t$ are happily going along on their way not having respect for their elders and were all prepared to push Mr 90 aside just to get a seat.

A massive PUK U to the houso lady who raced him for a seat them looked him in the face and smiled when she knew she had beat him…. If I ever see you again I am spitting in your face.
